Our Activities

Swimming Pool

During a sunny week at camp the best way to beat the heat is the swimming pool! Just ask one of our campers. The pool is always full of happy campers.

The pool is open on the weekends from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend for our overnight guests.  You must provide your own adult supervision and observe all posted rules. The 125 person capacity pool has depths of 3′ to 4’6″. The attached bathhouse has showers and dressing rooms available. Please check for pool hours during your visit.

Zip-line

Soar through the trees of the wooded hillside on our zip line course. Our guides will train you on the 60 foot training line before you travel down the 180 and 230 foot lines. While having a great time, you will also build confidence and learn responsibility.  The zip line is available for groups renting our facilities.  Reservations must be made 2 weeks prior to your visit and will be available as weather and staff permit.

Shooting Range

The BB gun and archery range is a favorite place for our campers to practice their skills with our trained instructors. It is a safe and fun place for campers to improve their shooting. With plenty of practice they will be hitting bulls-eyes in no time.

Sports and Games

With many games and sports available you will always find something to do at Moses Merrill! We have ball fields and basketball courts as well as exciting camp games like 9-Square and Ga-Ga Ball.

Trails & Hiking

With over 550 acres and more than 8 miles of hiking trails, there is a lot to explore. Our tree covered rolling hills are home to deer, wild turkey, birds, butterflies and a wide variety of plant life. Horseback riders, mountain bikers, and cross country skiers are also welcome to use the trails. No motor vehicles are allowed.

Camp Fire Sites & Wagon Rides

There are several campfire sites located around camp. Bring your Youth Group, Sunday School Class, family and friends out for a night around the campfire. Wagon rides through the woods are also available and are a tradition for our summer campers. Reservations are required.

Prayer Walk & Memorial Garden

The Prayer Walk is a fairly level quarter mile walk with 9 benches along the way to enable walkers to pause and reflect.

You will find the Memorial Garden off the main road just up the hill from the zip line. The garden is home to our beautiful Memorial Brick Patio.  Bricks can be purchased to be placed in the garden to celebrate the life of a loved one, honor a special day such as an anniversary or birthday, your church or favorite scripture. Be sure to check Memorial Garden out the next time you visit camp.
